    • OBITUARY:
      The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at his home in Kinkora, P.E.I., on Friday, July 6, 2012 of St. Clair Duffy, age 77 years.

      Clair was the much beloved husband of Clara (Johnston) for 54 years, and he was the cherished father of Mary Beth (Emmett) Bradley, Margaret (David) Landry, Eleanor (Wayne Reeves), Nancy Olscamp, Charles (Michelle) Duffy, Robert (Karen) Duffy, Peter (Jennifer) Duffy and the beloved grandfather (Pae) to Sarah (Jamie) Aitken, Emily and Bobby Bradley, Bethany, Katelyn Ryan and Adam Murphy, Lucas Olscamp, Justin Murphy, Emma, Matthew and Annie Duffy, Harrison, Maura and Landon Duffy, Liam and Keira Duffy. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Regis (Joan) Duffy, Adelaide Queeney, Corrinne (Philip) Shute, Desmond (Yvonne) Duffy, Genevieve (Peter) Mullally, Catherine (Philip) Mullally, Elizabeth McCulloch, Patrick (Amy) Duffy, Joan Duffy, Carolyn Ledwell and Emilly Duffy-Arsenault.

      Clair was predeceased by his parents, Annie and Earl Duffy; his brother, Charles; mother and father-in-law, Raymond and Frances Johnston; his beloved daughter, Patricia; and by brothers-in-law, Frank Ledwell, Gary McCulloch, Roger Queeney, Wilfred Arsenault, Austin Johnston, Gerry Johnston, Gerry Kilbride and John Johnston; and sister-in-law, Miriam Johnston.

      Visitation at St. Malachy's Church, Kinkora, from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, July 9, and Tuesday, July 10, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. No visitation Wednesday morning prior to the time of the funeral. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Malachy's Church, Kinkora, on Wednesday, July 11, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

      In lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy a memorial donation may be made to either the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the QEII Foundation for Organ and Tissue Transplant.
