  OBITUARY: The matriarch of our family, Theresa Ethel (Folland) McIver passed away peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on May 10, 2024. She was in her 91st year of a well lived life. Predeceased by her parents Roland and Bessie Folland; her husband of 57 years, Eugene McIver; her siblings Joyce, Helen and John (Buddy). Left to mourn are her 8 children, John (Kay) McIver, Genevieve (Robert) Gallant, Helen (Frazer) Smith, Dianne (Louis) Hamill, Lorna (Austin) Johnston, Marlene (Bruce) Feddema, Margie McIver, and Beth (Dan) Harris; 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews. Theresa enjoyed her many ‘happy hours’ with family and friends playing cards to all hours with friends and neighbors.She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, wanting to hear what was going on in everyone’s life. She was always game for any outing, especially family dinners. She could also tell you who was doing what and when. She was in the know!
