The lives of Greg and his brother Sean were tragically taken in a float plane accident while fishing in Alaska, on September 30, 2007. Devoted and loving husband to Tracey L. Brophy (Williams). Proud and loving father to Christopher N., Megan A., and Kirsten M. Missed deeply by brothers Brian F. (Lynn) and their children Colleen and James; Paul J. (Christopher McKenzie), and Sean's wife Lucy Provost and their children Samantha and Connor. Dedicated and caring son of the late John J. Brophy and Genevieve M. Brophy (Trainor). He was the Founder, President and CEO of Securit, and its well-known subsidiary Shred-it. Greg will be profoundly missed yet fondly remembered as he touched the hearts of so many people. He had an endless enthusiasm for life, an enduring dedication to family and friends, immeasurable passion for his business, a hunger for adventure and a generous, fun-loving spirit. Greg continuously endeavored to evolve and better himself for the benefit of those around him. He was clearly a living illustration of the word ''compassion'' defined as being able to see the divine in others, and now he resides peacefully in the realm of all that is divine. Services entrusted to the Neweduk Funeral Home ''Mississauga Chapel'', in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
