  OBITUARY: Michelle M. (Alband) Floyd, 54, of Gardner, died peacefully Wednesday, January 29, 2020, in her residence. Born in Boston on October 8, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Andrew W. and Judith A. (McIver) Alband. She was a graduate of Bromfield High School in Harvard with the Class of 1983. She enjoyed fishing. Michelle loved to write and play games. She was a gifted musician and loved to play the guitar and keyboard. But the time she loved and cherished the most was time spent with Greg and Denise. Michelle is survived by one son Gregory P. Floyd of Gardner; one brother Andrew J. Alband and his wife Darlene of Buckeye, Arizona; her life partner Denise Herthel of Gardner; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, 40 Heald St, Pepperell, MA, in the spring at the convenience of the family. A Calling Hour will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to Salvation Army, 72 Cambridge Street, Worcester, MA 01603.
