  OBITUARY Richard S. Jones, 81, of Bedford NH, died on Sept. 15, 2003, at the Arbors of Bedford. He was born in Manchester NH, the son of Horace and Marion Jones. He graduated from West High School in 1940 and married Marjorie Simons in 1942. He had a passion for cars, spent more than 50 years camping at Newfound Lake, but most of all enjoyed being with his family. He was a member of the Bedford Presbyterian Church. Mr. Jones served as a Bedford volunteer fireman and retired a master plumber from Paul's Oil Service. After retirement, he worked as a custodian in the Bedford school system. He was predeceased by his wife of nearly 60 years, Marjorie Jones. Family members include his son Kenneth Jones of Hudson NH; daughter Sandra (Jones) Davison of Sandown NH; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters Doris Goodwin of Dover NH and Shirley Newman of Hooksett NH.
