    • OBITUARY:
      Joseph I Jacques, age 92, of Ormond by the Sea, Florida, passed away on December 24, 2015 at home. He was the beloved husband of Rose-Marie V.Jacques. Born in Van Buren, ME, son of the late Willie and Emily (Gallant) Jacques. He and his wife raised their children, Christian, Bonnie and Maureen in Farmington, CT, before retiring from his Law Practice to live in Florida. He leaves behind 7 grandchildren, his brothers, Harold and Roland in Florida and sister Tina Morel in Manchester, CT. He served in the Navy during WWII and was elected to the Connecticut House of Representatives. A Memorial Mass will take place on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 1000 Oceanshore Blvd. Ormond Beach, FL. Burial will take place at a later date at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, Connecticut.
