  OBITUARY: Peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital, in Hamilton Ontario, on December 23, 2021, at the age of 83 years. Kenneth was born in Portage, Prince Edward Island, and was the beloved son of the late John and Lena Gallant of Prince Edward Island. Deeply loved and sadly missed by his sons, Joseph Raymond (Tracie) Gallant of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, son Robert Kenneth (Irene Hussar) Gallant of Richmond Hill, Ontario, and Wayne John (Corinne) Gallant of Fall River, Nova Scotia. Kenneth will be dearly missed by his seven Grandchildren; Braden Joseph, Spencer Carl, Taryn Nicole, Alana Marie, Daniel Wayne, Kyle Kenneth, Elias Rowan, and Great Grandson Emerson Koan. Kenneth will also be missed by his beloved partner, Sandra Dannys. Survived by his brothers and sisters, Edward (Gillian) Gallant, Florence (Clarence) Galliott, Francis (Donna) Gallant, Phyllis (Ross) Wells, Larry O’Brien and brother-in-law Art Arsenault. Kenneth is predeceased by his son David, brothers Donald, Leonard, Paul and his sisters Sheila Gallant, Rita MacIssac, Patsy Arsenault and Eva Kilbride. As per Kenneth’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Kenneth’s family will receive guests at the L.G. Wallace Funeral Home (151 Ottawa Street North, Hamilton, Ontario - 905-544-1147) where a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm **Note that Kenneth's parents were John T. and Lena Mary Gallant, not to be confused with Rose Marie's parents, John C. and Lena (Catherine Helena) Gallant.
