  Harold Augustus McKenna was born on November 29, 1898, in Lynn, Massachusetts. Despite moving to New Hampshire as a child, he returned to Massachusetts sometime in his 20s. Harold married Beatrice Cecilia Rivard in 1935, and it does not appear that they had any children. He was a civil engineer, working for T.A.
