Notes - Bertha Adria McKenna was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, on December 8, 1896. She worked as a school teacher in Manchester, New Hampshire, and she never married. Bertha died in a two-car crash on Route 101 in Auburn, New Hampshire, on Saturday, November 23, 1968. She and her sister, Pauline, were both killed in the accident, and another sister, Laura, was hospitalized. Based on several passenger lists, it appears that Bertha and her sister Laura often travelled together, visiting Florida, England, and France.
