• Notes

  Maude was born in North Wiltshire. She moved with her family to West Newton and later to Borden. In her early life she studied Dressmaking and Tailoring. Many were the attractive garments she fashioned for relatives and friends. It was a great joy for nieces and nephews to go to Borden for their holidays. In her final years, she with Emmett cared for their parents. She died suddenly in 1951 and was buried in Seven Mile Bay Cemetery. Submitted by Sister Mary McCarville
