• Notes

  Charles McIver was born in Newton, P.E.I. He received his early education in Newton School and later attended Prince of Wales College, Charlottetown. He left P.E.I. in 1912 and went to Courtenay, B.C. He soon found employment with the Comox Logging and Railway Company and eventually became their chief accountant.
