  OBITUARY: MCIVER, Barbara Ann - It is with saddened hearts that the family of Barbara Ann McIver announce her passing on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, after a courageous battle with ALS fought with poise, dignity and grace, at her home at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Howard. Loving mother of Tammy (Scott) McDermott and Gail (Jeff) Morrison. Cherished grandmother of Shaun, Owen, Jacob and Brooklyn. Dear sister of Wayne (Tricia) Marshall, Donna (John) Mooney, and Ken (Lorraine) Marshall. Survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Ralph and Alta (Burgess) Marshall and her sister Lori Marshall. The family wishes to thank the ALS Society, the PSW's of Bayshore Home Health and Dr. Gert Schlebusch for their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME , 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, March 21, 2016, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the ALS Society of Canada or the Alzheimer Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
