Deirdre M. Morrison, 56, of Lowell, died Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the High Pointe House in Haverhill after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Thomas A. Morrison, with whom she shared seventeen years of marriage.
Born in Boston on January 1, 1967, she was the daughter of David McIver of Stoneham and the late Kathleen (MacConaill) (McIver) Crawford. She was a graduate of Malden High School and served in the United States Navy.
Deirdre worked as a histologist at several area hospitals, including St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton, Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, and most recently at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge.
She was especially proud of her twenty-five years of sobriety.
She was a dedicated Red Sox fan, loved motorcycles, and looked forward to watching a good crime drama.
In addition to her husband and father, she leaves a daughter, Tina Bagley of Danvers, two grandchildren, Jayden and Isabella Bagley, her siblings, Michael McIver, Danielle McIver, Kerri Wells , and Mary Villwok, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Robert Bagley, Jr.
Visiting hours are Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 4-7PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. All other services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Deirdre’s memory may be made to Lowell General Hospital Cancer Center, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854.
