Judith A. (McIver) Alband
(February 26, 1943 - January 16, 2007)
WINCHENDON - Judith A. (McIver) Alband, 63, of 16 Ready Lane, Winchendon,and formerly of Pepperell and Harvard, died Tuesday, January 16th at her residence.
She was born in Boston on February 26,1943, the daughter of David M. and Rufine (Power) McIver and had resided in Winchendon for two years after residing in Pepperell for the previous 16 years.
Judith grew up in Boston and was a graduate of Our Lady of Presentation Academy in Brighton. She enjoyed crewel and stitching and playing bingo. Before living in Pepperell, she lived in Harvard for six years.
Her husband of 33 years, Andrew W. Alband, died in 1996. She leaves a son, Andrew J. Alband and his wife, Lisa of Winchendon; a daughter, Michelle M. Floyd and her husband, Greg, of Easton, N.H.; a brother, David McIver of Stoneham, MA.; three sisters, Maureen Mayo of Manchester, VT., Claire O'Sullivan of Dedham, MA. and Cathy Rose of Westwood, MA.; six grandchildren, Greg P. Floyd, Andrew J. Alband, Jr., Alisha Alband, David Alband, Jasmin Ramos and Gabriel Ramos, as well as several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20th from the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Pepperell.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Friday, January 19th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, One Abbey Lane, Middleboro, MA. 02346.
