Notes - OBITUARY:
MCIVER HUGHES, Margaret The death occurred peacefully surrounded by family at the Summerset Manor Summerside, on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 of Margaret McIver Hughes formerly of Newton aged 90 years. Margaret was a daughter of the late Joseph Francis McIsaac and Noleen Mary (Praught) McIsaac. Survived by her children and their spouses James (Karen Toole), Bernard (Rosemary Trainor), Michael (Mary Myers), Catherine (Patrick McSweeney), Patricia (late Michael Gallant), Jacqueline (Kenny Lawless), David (Peggy Sue Payne), and daughter in-law Debbie McIver (Thomas). Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother George McIsaac, and sisters Helen Hammill and Rita Harkin. Margaret is predeceased by her first husband St. Clair McIver, her second husband Clayton Hughes, son Paul McIver, daughter Patricia Ann Marie McIver, her parents Joseph and Noleen (Praught) McIsaac, brothers Andrew, Francis, Joseph McIsaac and sister Florence McIsaac. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. Private family funeral Mass will be held at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora. Memorial donations to the St. Malachy’s Cemetery Fund would be appreciated. www.lawlessfuneralhome.ca
